editor and publisher, reports that Vanity Fair writer and editor Alex Shoumatoff was arrested earlier this week for trespassing
at “the world famous Bohemian Grove, the exclusive getaway of some of the world's most powerful men who gather there
every year in July for two weeks.” Mr. Murphy pokes fun at Shoumatoff — making light of his weight and Pebble
Beach sweater — and then tells us Shoumatoff was writing a story about “the Club's plans to thin its Douglas
fir and diseased oak trees to help prevent the type of forest fires that have swept Big Sur and Northern California,”
an assignment he apparently accepted at the behest of Jock Hooper, described by Murphy as “a disgruntled former member
of the Bohemian Club.” Mr. Murphy makes a big deal out of Hooper's “eccentric” concern for trees while
completely ignoring a far larger story — the very existence of the “Bohemian Club,” who attends, and what
happens there. “Bohemian Grove, a secluded campground in California's Sonoma County, is the site of an annual two-week
gathering of a highly select, all-male club, whose members have included every Republican president since Calvin Coolidge.
Current participants include George Bush, Henry Kissinger, James Baker and David Rockefeller — a virtual who's who
of the most powerful men in business and government,” writes Fairness & Accuracy In Reporting. “Few journalists have gotten into the Grove and been allowed to tell the tale
(one exception is Philip Weiss, whose November 1989 Spy piece provides the most detailed inside account), and members maintain
that the goings-on there are not newsworthy events, merely private fun. In fact, official business is conducted there: Policy
speeches are regularly made by members and guests, and the club privately boasts that the Manhattan Project was conceived

by two of the participants in the festivities — executives from Time Warner, People's publisher. More loyal to the
Grove than to journalistic endeavor, they had the reporter removed from the premises…. Time Warner is not the only
media corporation with Bohemian connections. The list of Fourth Estate bigwigs who have been members or guests is extensive:
Franklin Murphy, the former CEO of the Times Mirror corporation; William Randolph Hearst Jr., Jack Howard and Charles Scripps

In other words, a wide array of corporate media bigwigs participate in the “festivities” — which include
worship of Luciferianism, the sacrifice of human effigies, arcane Druid ceremonies held before a large stone owl, mystery

talk show host Jack McLamb, was imprisoned after he infiltrated the Grove as an employee and filmed the facilities. The film
footage was used in Alex Jones’ The Order of Death video. “Chris is currently in California jail for showing his
neighbors the videos Dark Secrets Inside Bohemian Grove and The Order of Death by Alex Jones. Some of the neighbors were minors which the court
ruled as justification for imprisonment,” notes a post on the Prison Planet forum. “Chris was sentenced for three years in the Theo Lacy jail in Orange California.
He has been transferred to the Wasco State Prison in California where his life could be in danger.” Obviously, the elite
were not amused by Chris Jones’ attempt to reveal the Grove from the inside out. “Outgoing President George W.
Bush and both of his presumptive replacements John McCain and Barack Obama are rumored to be in attendance at this year's
Bohemian Grove gathering, an annual get-together of the global elite staged inside a sprawling forest encampment which kicks
off tonight and runs until July 27,” Paul Joseph Watson wrote earlier this week. “Tellingly, both McCain and Democratic candidate
Barack Obama will be in California from Saturday to Tuesday.” You'd think, as a supposed journalist, Pat Murphy
of the San Francisco Sentinel would be interested in such bizarre activity going on in his backyard. Instead, he finds it
more useful to slander Alex Shoumatoff, who is no stranger to Bohemian Grove. Of course, even if Murphy wanted to write about
the real behavior going on at the Grove, he wouldn't dare — that is if he wants to remain the editor and publisher
of the San Francisco Sentinel. No doubt he does not want to end up like Chris Jones.

 A Background to Bilderberg Sunday, June 8, 2008, marked the last day of this year’s annual Bilderberg meeting, which took place in Chantilly, Virginia. The American Friends of Bilderberg, an American Bilderberg front group, which organizes the American participant list for the annual Bilderberg conference, issued a rare press release this year. It stated that, "The Conference will deal mainly with a nuclear free world, cyber terrorism, Africa, Russia, finance, protectionism, US-EU relations, Afghanistan and Pakistan, Islam and Iran. Approximately 140 participants will attend."1Bilderberg, which has been meeting annually since 1954, is a highly secretive international think tank and some say, policy-forming group made up of representatives from North America and Western Europe and was founded by Joseph Retinger, Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands and Belgian Prime Minister Paul Van Zeeland. The Bilderberg Steering Committee, made up of around 30 people, (with no official list available), "decided that it would invite 100 of the most powerful people in Europe and North America every year to meet behind closed doors at a different five-star resort. The group stresses secrecy: What's said at a Bilderberg conference stays at a Bilderberg conference."2 Usually, the Bilderberg Conference is held in Europe for three years in a row, with the fourth year holding a meeting in North America. However, the previous North American conference was held in 2006 in Ottawa. So why did they break tradition to hold the conference in North America this year? Penney, Dow Jones, and Sara Lee, to name a few, also happens to be a very close friend of former President Bill Clinton. However, "it was Jordan who first introduced then-Gov. Clinton to world leaders at their annual Bilderberg gathering in Germany in 1991. Plenty of governors try to make that scene; only Clinton got taken seriously at that meeting, because Vernon Jordan said he was okay."6 Clinton subsequently became President.Barack and Bilderberg Recently, there has been much discussion about Barack Obama having possibly attended the recent Bilderberg conference in Virginia. This speculation arose when Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton sneaked off for a secretive meeting while in Virginia. As the AP reported, "Reporters traveling with Obama sensed something might be happening between the pair when they arrived at Dulles International Airport after an event in Northern Virginia and Obama was not aboard the airplane. Asked at the time about the Illinois senator's whereabouts, [Obama spokesman Robert] Gibbs smiled and declined to comment."7 The press that had been traveling with Obama were not made aware of the secretive meeting until the plane that they assumed Obama would be present on was moving down the runway, prompting many angry questions from the press towards Obama’s spokesman, Robert Gibbs. One reported asked Gibbs, "Why were we not told about this meeting until we were on the plane, the doors were shut and the plane was about to taxi to take off?" to which he responded, "Senator Obama had a desire to do some meetings, others had a desire to meet with him tonight in a private way and that is what we are doing." This preceded another question, "Is there more than one meeting, is there more than one person with whom he is meeting?" Gibbs simply replied, "I am not going to get into all the details of the meeting." He again later repeated that, "There was a desire to do some meetings tonight, he was interested in doing them, others were interested in doing them, and to do them in a way that was private."8 On Friday, June 6, it was reported that Bilderberg tracker, Jim Tucker, "called Obama’s office today to ask if he had attended Bilderberg. A campaign spokeswoman refused to discuss the matter but would not deny that Obama had attended Bilderberg."9Bilderberg to Pick Obama’s Vice President As the Financial Times reported in May of this year, Barack Obama appointed James A. Johnson, the former CEO of Fannie Mae, "to head a secret committee to produce a shortlist for his vice-presidential running mate." A short list was discussed by the article, which listed, other than Hillary Clinton, "Jim Webb, the former secretary of the navy, Vietnam veteran and senator for Virginia; Tim Kaine, the governor of Virginia; John Edwards, the former vice-presidential candidate in 2004; Ted Strickland, the governor of Ohio; and Kathleen Sebelius, the governor of Kansas." Other potential nominees include "Sam Nunn, the former chairman of the Senate armed services committee; and Wesley Clark, the former head of Nato in Europe."10James A. Johnson, the man Obama asked to pick his running mate, played the same role for John Kerry back in 2004, and he selected John Edwards. As the New York Times reported, "Several people pointed to the secretive and exclusive Bilderberg conference of some 120 people that this year drew the likes of Henry A. Kissinger, Melinda Gates and Richard A. Perle to Stresa, Italy, in early June, as helping [Edwards] win Mr. Kerry's heart. Mr. Edwards spoke so well in a debate on American politics with the Republican Ralph Reed that participants broke Bilderberg rules to clap before the end of the session." The Times further reported, "His performance at Bilderberg was important,'' said a friend of Mr. Kerry who was there. ''He reported back directly to Kerry. There were other reports on his performance. Whether they reported directly or indirectly, I have no doubt the word got back to Mr. Kerry about how well he did."11 James A. Johnson, Vice Chairman of Perseus, a merchant banking firm, is also a director of Goldman Sachs, Forestar Real Estate Group, Inc., KB Home, Target Corporation and UnitedHealth Group Inc., is also a member of the American Friends of Bilderberg, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission and is an honorary trustee of the Brookings Institution.12 It is likely that Obama’s running mate will be chosen by Johnson at this years Bilderberg Conference.Notable among this year’s Bilderberg guests are Kansas Governor, Kathleen Sebelius, who the Financial Times reported was on Johnson’s short list of nominees. In fact, Sebelius is the only person mentioned as a possible running mate in the Financial Times article that was officially listed on the Bilderberg list of attendees.13 Could this be a sign that she may be the chosen one? Time will tell. However, another Democratic politician present at the meeting was Tom Daschle, so perhaps he is working his way back into politics. Don’t Forget McCain

The Franklin Cover-up Scandal was the subject of "Conspiracy of Silence" a 1994 Discovery Channel documentary that never aired, due to pressure from unknown members of Congress. The documentary, produced by Britain's Yorkshire TV, was scheduled to have aired on May 3, 1994, and appeared in TV Guide as such ... but then disappeared. The government paid The Discovery Channel a large sum of money (almost half a million dollars) NOT to air this documentary and ordered them to destroy all copies. In the Franklin Cover-up Scandal of 1989, investigators of that case discovered that Paul A. Bonacci wrote in his diary that he had been flown into the Bohemian Grove by republican leader Lawrence King and was forced into sexual acts with other boys including snuff films and BDSM. Paul Bonacci later testified to these charges in court, with United States Senior District Judge Warren K. Urbom presiding. Bonacci WON the court case, and was awarded $1 Million Dollars, by Judge Urbom. Spy Magazine in their 1989 Issue, reported about the grove and its "busing in" of homosexual prostitutes from surrounding towns and the problem of the possibility with bohemian Grove members contracting AIDS.

Applied Digital, maker of the implantable VeriChip for humans, announced on Wednesday the FDA's
approval of its technology for use in hospitals following a year-long review by the agency.
The computer chips, which are about the size of a grain of rice, are designed to be injected into the fatty tissue of the arm. Using a special scanner, doctors and other hospital staff can fetch information from the chips, such as the patient's identity, their blood type and the details of their condition, in order to speed treatment. The company is targeting the devices at patients suffering from Alzheimer's disease, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and other conditions requiring complex treatment. Medical data is not stored on the devices, also known as radio frequency identification chips. Rather, it's stored in a database that links the chips' unique serial numbers with patient data. In its review, the FDA carefully studied the privacy issues around the technology, specifically the risk that medical records could be improperly disclosed, according to Applied Digital. So far, no hospitals in the United States have placed orders for the chips, an Applied Digital representative said. So the company is planning to give away scanners, which cost $650 a piece, to 200 trauma centres around the country to jump-start the market. The patient ID chips are taking off more quickly in other countries. In Mexico, more than 1,000 patients have been implanted with VeriChips. The Italian Ministry of Health is testing the technology in some hospitals there. Applied Digital, based in Palm Beach, Florida, also markets the VeriChip as an authentication tool for use in building security and to complete financial transactions. The attorney general of Mexico and 200 people on his staff have already been implanted with the company's chips as part of an effort to control access to areas where confidential documents are kept. The tags, which are inserted with a syringe, have been used to track pets and livestock for years, the company said. Applied Digital has sold about 7,000 VeriChip devices, and approximately 1,000 have been inserted in humans, the company said in July. The company would not provide more current figures or disclose the price of the chips.
